About four blocks from my hotel is the sea wall where ships tie up. You can take a boat from here to the Turkish part of Cypress. This is the Bosphorus Straight. There’s a lot of traffic both on the straight and on the street that crosses it. This means the bridge is up a lot making a massive traffic jam.
I don’t know the story behind the small steam engine.
