My walk around this city I see a big difference in new and old built buildings. The average price of an Apartment in Batumi is around $450 per month. I pay $429 for a spacious studio apartment with a lovely view of the Black Sea and city lights at night.
So where do the workers live, whose salaries average around $600 per month. The answer is in the old build apartments that are rapidly disappearing as new high rise buildings take their place.
The apartments in this building rent from $60 per month to $250 for a two bedroom apartment. Try to find one vacant.
