I’m in a sidewalk cafe having an unneeded pastry and a coke.
The locals are discussing geopolitics. Now I don’t speak Georgian, but certain words like American, Israel, Ukraine, Hamas tend to stick out in the conversation.
One man who spoke Russian quite well explained to me that American NGO’s like USaid are pouring money into Georgia trying to influence our government.
He said, We’ll take their money but then we’ll do whatever is best for Georgia.

I see that USaid advertises heavily.
Today I took the number 10 bus to the Botanical Gardens. Don’t take the 10A because it doesn’t go that far. It was a beautiful day, one of Batumi’s 300 beautiful days each year.
A big shout out to the people who follow me. Unfortunately I’ve had to leave Russia. It became impossible to receive any funds from the US. I am currently living in Batumi, Georgia.
