Monday there was a terrible storm on the Black Sea and it did a lot of damage to buildings in Crimea. It was bad in Batumi too but no damage that I heard of.
Tuesday I awoke to a beautiful blue sky and a bright sunny day, so I decided to ride the cable car and see some snow. After all it almost a December.
I left balmy Batumi behind and was gently lifted up towards the Caucasus Mountains.
I picked some beautiful jazz music to accompany our ride so if you have thirty five minutes to spend on a cable car ride, grab a cup of coffee and come along.
A big shout out to the people who follow me. Unfortunately I’ve had to leave Russia. It became impossible to receive any funds from the US. I am currently living in Batumi, Georgia.
This is my family in the living room of my apartment in Kimovsk, Russia. I am a disabled Vietnam veteran. Seventy six years of age. My son Aleksandr (left), and my granddaughter Dasha (center) look in on me. Here, I had hoped to live out my retirement years.
